We help people with the disease of alcoholism, substance use disorder, and co-occurring disorders live independent, healthy, and productive lives by providing a continuum of individualized services and care.

Blue Skies

We are a private nonprofit substance use disorder provider offering Part 820 Residential Redesign programs of Stabilization and Reintegration programs licensed by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports. As the only licensed provider of long-term residential substance use disorder treatment in Broome County, our continuum of services emphasizes a holistic treatment model. We offer a wide range of substance use disorder treatment services including direct delivery of stabilization services, Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), vocational counseling, recreation therapy, mental health services, case management, and peer support, as well as a comprehensive continuum of housing programs to meet the needs of patients at various stages of recovery.

We incorporate the needs of the whole patient in treatment and seek to provide patients with recovery support, leading to permanency, stability, self-reliance, and self-determination.

 Addiction Stabilization Center

Individuals 18 and over in need of medically supervised detoxification services. 

Residential Reintegration for Men

Men over 18 who need residential care during the early stages of recovery from alcohol and/or substance use disorder.

Residential Reintegration for Women

Women over 18 who need residential care during the early stages of recovery from alcohol and/or substance use disorder.

Reintegration Scattered Site

Individuals  over 18 living with substance use disorder in a community based setting.

Voices Recovery Center

Those in Recovery or seeking recovery; family and friends of those in recovery; those who have lost someone to addiction.

Fairview Recovery History

Fairview Recovery Services is a path to recovery. We offer professional and compassionate care that is delivered along a continuum of residential and support services for adults living with substance use disorders in Broome and surrounding counties.

In 1970, The Fairview Inn, a rambling Victorian house overlooking the Susquehanna Valley on the east side of Binghamton, opened its doors to three people affected by alcoholism. With a budget of $4 per day, per resident, John and Janice Morrell realized a vision of providing safe housing for alcoholics who wished to maintain a sober lifestyle. From that modest start, Fairview Recovery Services, Inc. now operates a seven-program continuum of care with a budget of $5 million.

Fairview's one-of-a-kind "Remembering a Life Through Food" An “In Memory" Cookbook brought to you by Fairview Recovery Services.  $25 each. This cookbook is filled with over 200 tried and true delicious recipes with special sweet memories of loved ones sprinkled throughout. Sales from this printed cookbook will benefit people in recovery. New ASC Administration Building update

And so, it begins…with much excitement and anticipation, Fairview Recovery Services prepares for the demolition of our former Merrick Halfway House and in its place the creation of our new Addiction Stabilization Center / Administration facility. Fairview continues our commitment to provide the best services for our community. We hope you will follow along with us on this journey as we post periodic updates.
